Cameras fine unauthorised cars entering the centre of Calella by Carrer de Chopitea and the Passeig de Cípsela in Llafranc. From 15 June to 15 September the blue zone runs every day from 09:00 to 21:00: EUR 1.50 for 63 minutes, EUR 5.20 for 4 hours.
A hill town above the coves of Sa Riera, Sa Tuna and Aiguablava. It suits couples and villa stays with a car.

From 13 June to 13 September 2026 a beach bus linked the town, the coves and the reference car parks for EUR 1.50 a ride. The Sa Tuna car park costs EUR 3 a day from June to September and nothing the rest of the year.

In Catalonia the line sits at 31 days. Up to that, a whole flat let to visitors is a tourist flat; beyond it, the stay is a seasonal lease with its own contract rules.

From 1 April 2026 the Catalan tax outside Barcelona is EUR 1.75 per person per night in a tourist flat, EUR 0.90 in hotels of three stars or fewer, EUR 1.80 in four-star and EUR 4.50 in five-star hotels. It is charged for at most 7 nights, guests aged 16 and under are exempt, and the tax agency lists no Girona surcharge.
A legal tourist flat has a Catalan tourism register number (NIRTC), displayed inside with its maximum capacity and an assistance phone. Platforms must show the number in every advert and may not publish one without it.
The low-emission zone admits cars with a B, C, ECO or 0 label on weekdays from 07:00 to 20:00. The Barri Vell itself has a camera at Plaça Catalunya and automatic bollards that open for residents and car-park users.
The Mercadal and the Eixample, across the river, sit inside the low-emission zone but outside the Barri Vell bollards; blue-zone street parking allows 2 hours. On the coast, Calella and Llafranc control access by camera and charge for summer parking.
