1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using QUUB services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Rental Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from QUUB, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age (25 for certain vehicle categories)
• Hold a valid driver's license from your country of residence
• Present a valid passport or government-issued photo ID
• Provide a valid credit or debit card for the security deposit

3. Reservations and Payments

All reservations must be made online through the QUUB platform. Payment is processed at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Prices displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes. A pre-authorisation hold will be placed on your card for the security deposit amount upon pickup; this is released within 7–14 business days of return, subject to no damage claims.

4. Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup will incur a fee equal to one day's rental rate. No-shows will be charged the full reservation amount.

5. Vehicle Use

The rental vehicle may only be operated by the named renter and any additional drivers listed on the rental agreement. The vehicle may not be:

• Used for hire, reward, or commercial transportation
• Operated under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Driven off paved roads without prior written consent
• Taken off the island of Aruba without prior written consent
• Used in any illegal activity

6. Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank unless you have purchased the Prepaid Fuel option. If returned with less fuel, a refuelling fee plus the cost of fuel will be charged.

7. Damage and Liability

The renter is responsible for all damage to the vehicle during the rental period, including damage caused by third parties. Damage documentation is conducted digitally via the QUUB app at pickup and return. Pre-existing damage noted at pickup will not be charged. Any new damage will be assessed and charged according to the chosen protection plan and applicable deductible.

8. Traffic Violations and Fines

The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, fines, and penalties incurred during the rental period. An administrative fee of $35 will be charged per incident for processing.

9. Breakdown and Roadside Assistance

In the event of a breakdown, contact QUUB immediately via the app or our emergency line. Do not arrange third-party repairs without prior QUUB authorisation. Roadside assistance is included with Standard and Full protection plans.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Aruba. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Aruba.
